CONTENT-BASED INSTRUCTION
• It’s a metodology using content from other disciplines in language courses.
In 1970 to integrate the teaching of reading and writing into all other subject areas.
 CONTRIBUTION:
Is that it integrates the learning of language with the learning of
some other content, often academic subject matter.
CONTENT-BASED INSTRUCTION
Exist 4 reasons for use this methode:

1.- The students learn language and content.

2.- This methode present the language in natural context.

3.- The students have motivate for use the language to learn.

4.- The students learn academic vocabulary and the stuctures of

text the diferents asignatures.

Main objectives:
– Identify celestial bodies in the universe.
- Know the basic characteristics of the different stars.
- Identify the planets of the solar system.
- Know the movement of the moon.

Evaluation:

 Know the different celestial bodies that are part of the universe.

 Know the characteristics of the Earth and identify its movements.

 Name the phases of the moon.

 Define and know the different stars that make up the Solar System.

 Identify the planets of the Solar System in images.

 Learn to complete a conceptual map related to the subject.

 Analyze and interpret a map.

 Develop a positive attitude towards the use of L2.

 Is able to self-assess consistently with the work done.
