This module focuses on assessing and

remediating devices based upon a security
policy. This includes scheduling and running
these tasks in the background to keep the
printer fleet compliant with the security
policy.

Assess Only and Assess

and Remediate are
considered tasks. You
can launch them from
either the Tasks window
or the Policies window.
You can also launch
either task from the
Action menu or right-
mouse-click menu.
 Assess Only
The following example policy demonstrates assessing and remediating
devices based upon a security policy. Devices are assessed
according to the settings listed in the Policy Value column. This
policy has the following features:

•Varying severity is assigned per setting.

•Remediation is enabled.
•Unsupported settings are ignored.

restart a task, use the Action menu or the
right-mouse-click menu. As mentioned during the
