John 14:1-3
Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God;
believe also in me.
My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so,
would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a
place for you?
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and
take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.
What to
PREPARE?

Dress to
wear
1 Timothy 2:9-10 (NIV)

9I also want the women to dress

modestly, with decency and propriety,
adorning themselves, not with
elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or
expensive clothes, 10 but with good
deeds, appropriate for women who
profess to worship God.
“We can cause others to stumble
by the way we dress and God will
hold us accountable for the way
we appear to others.”

pray without ceasing
Prayer is an integral link in Christian spiritual life, and is
the key moment when we have a communion with God.
It needs us to open our hearts, speak our hearts to God,
quiet our hearts before Him, and truly call out to Him.

Steps to Christ, ch. 11, p. 98

Unceasing PRAYER is the unbroken union of the soul with
God, so that life from God flows into our life; and from
our life, purity and holiness flow back to God.
