PERSON?
A WISE PERSON IS ONE WHO IS AWARE OF WHAT
HE KNOWS AND WHAT HE DOES NOT KNOW

• A wise person is aware of his/her ignorance


A WISE PERSON HOLDS BELIEFS THAT ARE NOT
ONLY TRUE BUT WHICH HE/SHE CAN ALSO JUSTIFY

• Not only does he/she must have true beliefs, he/she also must
have strong reasons to have these beliefs
A WISE PERSON KNOWS A LOT ABOUT THINGS
THAT ARE VALUABLE IN LIFE.

• A person may know so many things, but if these things prove to


be of no value or of no use in the practical affairs of life, this
person cannot be said as a wise person.
A WISE PERSON CAN PUT HIS/HER KNOWLEDGE
TO PRACTICAL USE

• A wise person knows how to apply his/her knowledge to


practical matters.
A WISE PERSON DOES NOT ONLY KNOW WHAT IS TRUE,
BUT ALSO KNOWS WHAT IS GOOD OR WHAT OUGHT
TO BE DONE AND ACTS ACCORDINGLY.

• A wise person knows which actions are good, and he/she


performs them.

• Connotes the image of comical and sometimes annoying character.


• Often describes as someone who plays words or twists common
sensical reasoning in order to cross funny.
• Also described as KSP (kulang sa pansin) because of incessant
questioning that gives the impression that they are desperate for
attention.
IS A PILOSOPO CAN BE MEAN AS PHILOSOPHER?

• No, a philosopher is not a Pilosopo because he/she does not play


with words, or twists reasoning just for fun.

• Yes, a pilosopo is a Philosopher, if his/her intention in playing with


words and overturning usual forms of reasoning is order to view
things in a different way.
IS A PILOSOPO CAN BE MEAN AS PHILOSOPHER?

• No, a philosopher is not a Pilosopo if he/she raises questions often


with the intention of showing off that HE/SHE IS SINGULARLY
SMART AND INQUISITIVE.

• Yes, a pilosopo is a Philosopher, if the questions he/she ask stem


from a genuine confusion, astonishment and wonder.
