PROBLEM DEFINITION

● Various e-commerce website which provide billions of product


reviews.
● It is difficult for a customer to go through all the reviews and identify
the important features.
● Moreover it is tedious task for a customer to make decision about
buying.
● It is important for the companies to understand customer behavioral
patterns.

SCOPE

● Provide an e-commerce interface which produces a product score from these reviews.
● This will avoid the need, for the user, to search through the opinions and comments
online to know about the product.
● It extracts specification list like battery, processor, camera etc. from the review to
determine polarity of the feature and classifying it under the specification list.
● Each specification is assigned a score based on polarity i.e. positive/negative feedback.
● Overall product rate will be calculated by aggregating the score specific to individual
feature using a particular formula.

Conclusions
● This paper has presented a novel work on rating the product based on the
reviews written by the customers.
● Overall rating is calculated using Random Forest and rating for technical
specification of a product is generated by using Aspect Based Sentiment
Analysis .
● The main purpose is to ease the work of customers and make it simpler for
the users to decide which product is desirable for purchasing by comparing
features of a mobile product such as camera, display,battery, performance etc.

Future Scope

● As a future enhancement, main aim will be Expert review extraction from


different mobile expert blogs and providing a weightage for these reviews.
● Also, improvement in accuracy of Aspect based sentiment analysis will be the
future scope of the project.
● Although the work has produced interesting results, but in order to achieve
better performance and accuracy the amount of data to be analyzed for
experimentation should be increased.
