• Go to the “Dæk” Sheet and choose the level you want to extract the
forces, in this example let’s choose Dæk over etage 1.

• Once the rows are highlighted, ensure that the excel file “Macro” which
contains the VBA Codes for the extraction is active/open.

• Another Dialog box will pop out, this will let us Name the (.struxml) file
that will be produced.

• A dialog box will again pop out, this will let us choose the floor we are
considering from the sheet “Last på bygn.”

• This will create the (.struxml) file that will be located at your Local
Documents folder
Converting Extracted File(.struxml) to Strusoft File
• Open the Strusoft FEM-Design and just Drag and Drop the (.struxml) file
to import it to Strusoft.

• The Loads Imported can now be accessed on Load menu with the Load
Case name being the Name given to the (.struxml) file.

• To check if the loads are properly extracted and imported to strusoft, go back to
the NEMStatik file, “Dæk” sheet and check if the loads corresponds to the load
table. The wall number will be added as a comment on the Strusoft file for
checking.
