GRAVITY

WHAT IS GRAVITY?

Gravity is the reason we can’t float, and things fall to the ground. It is a non contact
force that is always there, even in space. Everything projects a gravitational field,
and the larger an object is, the larger its gravitational field. For example, a pencil
case’s gravitational pull does not affect anything, while the earth’s field holds us all
down.
DIAGRAM OF HOW GRAVITY WORKS

In this diagram, the earth is

pulling on the moon,
keeping the moon in it’s
orbit. The reason the Earth
hasn’t pulled the moon into
us yet is because the moon
also exerts a gravitational
pull on us as well.
EXPERIMENT
First, take a object.
Second, drop said object.
If the object falls, there has to be a force acting upon it. The force that is acting upon
it is gravity
