MAHAYAG CHAPTER
 TALK 1

-Kuya Aldrian-
 All of us have our own crazy dreams, even
God has his own “crazy dream”. Like
many others, our dreams may seem to far
out, hard to believe. But then again, He is
God, and nothing is impossible with Him.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares
the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to
harm you, plans to give you hope and a
future.” (Jeremiah 29:11)

This is all because of His great love for

us. This is His great plan for us.
 God is always after our wellbeing, our
happiness and safety. As God’s own,
everything that comes from Him is
good. When He created us, He created
us to last forever.
 As uncertain as the future is, God
guarantees us that not even a part of
it will be in despair and that the whole
and everything in it is positive and
desirable.
 On a larger scale (world)-
poverty, same sex marriage, rampant teenage
pregnancy, drug abuse, abortion, global warming, etc.
 On a local scale (in our country)-
state local issues relevant in your area like drug
addiction, corruption, street crime, etc.
 On our self-
insecurity, hatred, pessimism, doubt, peer pressure,
etc.
 In our families-
we have broken relationships; some people we
know have broken families; sometimes we really don’t
make time to spend with them, sibling rivalry, etc.

Romans 6:23
 God wants us to experience the fullness of life but
we continue to follow our own preferences. By
choosing to turn away from this promise, God
could have just as well chosen to turn away from
us, destroy us as we deserve, and create a more
faithful people who would gladly accept His love
and the life that He offers. Instead, He decided that
His love, His mercy should prevail.

 So he began sending his prophets.

Sin separates God from Christ bridges the
man. separation.
