The song is about a girl who is trying to be who she wants to be but cannot due to
her family’s expectation to her in being a decent woman. The first verse of the song
expresses her emotions that she will never be the woman her family ought her to be.
However, if she did not meet the expectation of her family from her, she would break
their hearts and be a disappointment to them. The chorus tells how problematic the
situation is to her as she does not know what to do. The entire song expresses the
girl’s problem and how she prays to become who she wants to be without
disappointing her family; how she will do anything if a chance comes.

It is time wherein the age-old battle of what others

wants you to be and what you want to be must end. It
