Accordion Pleats A series of permanent folds of equal width in alternating opposite directions made in fabric,paper or other material. Box Pleats It is a pleat consisting of two parallel creases facing opposite directions and forming a raised section in between. Inverted Pleat It is a pleat formed by bringing two folded edges toward or to a center point on the outside of the material to form a box pleat on the inside.
