Carbon-Oxygen Cycle
Plants use carbon dioxide in
a process known as
photosynthesis. During
photosynthesis, plants give
off oxygen as a waste
product. Carbon dioxide
moves from the air into the
leaves of plants through tiny
openings in the plant's
leaves.
Biogeochemical Cycle

• A biogeochemical cycle is
one of several natural
cycles, in which conserved
matter moves through
the biotic and abiotic parts
of an ecosystem.
Nitrogen Cycles
• the series of processes by
which nitrogen and its
compounds are inter
converted in the
environment and in living
organisms, including nitrogen
fixation and decomposition.
Phosphorus Cycle
• The phosphorus
cycle. Phosphorus moves in
a cycle through rocks,
water, soil and sediments
and organisms. Over time,
rain and weathering cause
rocks to release phosphate
ions and other minerals.
This inorganic phosphate is
then distributed in soils and
water.
Water Cycle
• The water cycle describes
how water evaporates from
the surface of the earth,
rises into the atmosphere,
cools and condenses into
rain or snow in clouds, and
falls again to the surface as
precipitation. ...
• The cycling of water in and
out of the atmosphere is a
significant aspect of the
weather patterns on Earth.
