Colombian
Latin pop
singer and
songwriter.
Shakira was born
on February 2,
1977 in Colombia.
She is the only
child of William
Mebarak Chadid
and Nidia Ripoll.
When Shakira was two
years old, her older
brother had died in a
motorcycle accident,
at the age of eight,
Shakira wrote her
first song "Your dark
glasses” . She found an
inspiration for the
song in her father,who
wore dark glasses for
years to hide his grief.
•She began her career in 1990. she
published her first album at the
age of 14 and it was called
„Magia”.
Shakira is in a
relationship
with
PLAYER,GERARD
PIQUE. HE PLAYS
FOR FC
BARCELONA AND
FOR SPANISH
NATIONAL TEAM.
sHe speaks
Portuguese,
Spanish, English,
French, Italian and
Arabic. During her
world tour „Oral
Fixation”, Shakira
visited Croatia and
performed a
concert in Velika
Gorica on 15th july
