    INTRODUCTION

     The towns of Katpadi and Vellore are situated in


    Tamil Nadu, India.
     These towns often face an acute shortage of
    water due to geological and political reasons.
     This majorly contributes to the water problems in
    VIT.
    WATER SCARCITY DUE TO OVER-USAGE
    OF GROUND WATER
    OBJECTIVE

     To analyze the problems caused by water shortage


     Talk to people in and around university and find
    out potential issues relevant to the problem.
     To come up with innovative solutions to tackle the
    same.
    NATURE OF SOLUTION

     Solutions- economically feasible and viable for


    implementation.
     Can be extended to other similar regions for
    deployment.
    OVERVIEW

     Talk to people in and around university and find


    out potential issues relevant to the problem.
     Analyze the issues put forth by this investigation.
     Try to find solutions to the aforementioned
    problems.
     Implementation of these solutions will then be
    attempted.
