    1. Decision making involves identifying problems, considering alternatives, and choosing a solution. There are two types of decisions: programmed and non-programmed. 2. There are three models of decision making: the classical model which focuses on clear problems, certainty, and rational choices; the administrative model which considers bounded rationality and intuition for vague problems; and the political model which involves bargaining between groups with conflicting goals. 3. The decision making process involves 6 steps: recognizing a decision is needed, analyzing causes, developing alternatives, selecting an alternative, implementing it, and providing feedback.
