Parallel procedures refer to the implementation of
automated system simultaneous with the old system or manual system. Parallel procedures should be under the closed supervision of IT Department and the Heads of affected departments. If the implementation of the automated system shows material errors, IT Department shall declare a “show stopper”, meaning, implementation shall be postponed. If implementation is postponed, the company shall go back to the manual or old system.
