• Nestlé is a Swiss-German word which means Little Nest


which is its trademark.
• Headquarters in Vevey, Switzerland.
• Founded in 1886 by Henri Nestlé.
• World’s biggest food and beverages company.
• Runs 509 factories in 85 countries.
• Employs about 265,000 people from all over the world.
• Over 700 products innovated in the past five years, with
wellness in mind.

• Henri Nestlé, a pharmacist, established Nestlé


in 1866 in Switzerland.
• Developed a food for babies who were unable
to breastfeed.

by the name Farine Lacteé.
