Courses
• Installing and Configuring Servers – This course provides students with
knowledge and skills in working with Windows operating systems to install
and perform the initial configuration of a Windows Server in an existing
Windows server environment. Students will learn how to implement and
configure the core services, including Active Directory Domain Services,
networking services, and initial Hyper-V configuration.
• This course maps to the required Microsoft exam, Microsoft 70-410.
• Client Operating Systems – The course provides students with knowledge
and skills to perform the installation and configuration of the operating
systems as well as how to set up users, system profiles, and policies
relating to the operating system. Students will learn to perform fault
isolation and correction of the operating system.
• This course maps to the required Microsoft exam, Microsoft 98-349.
Courses
• Active Directory & Client OS – The course provides students with the
knowledge and skills to implement, manage and maintain network
infrastructure. Students will learn to apply server tasks including
implementing routing, implementing, managing and maintain Protocols
(DHVP), (DNS), and (WINS); IP traffic and certificates; implementing a
network access infrastructure; and managing and monitoring network
access.
• This course maps to the required Microsoft exam, Microsoft 70-411.
• Configuring Advanced Server Services – In this course, students will gain
the skills and knowledge necessary to implement a core Windows Server
2012 infrastructure in an existing enterprise environment. Students will
cover the necessary administrative responsibilities, such as implementing
server images, user and group management with Active Directory Domain
Services (AD DS) and Group Policy, remote access, network policies, data
security, and monitoring and updating management.
