chain management that plans, implements,
and controls the efficient, effective forward,
and reverse flow and storage of goods,
services, and related information between the
point of origin and the point of consumption
in order to meet customer’s requirements
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF
LOGISTIC MANAGER
 Performing supply chain activities
 Strategically planning and managing logistics, warehouse,
transportation and customer services
 Keeping track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery
times, transport costs and efficiency

 Liaising and negotiating with suppliers,
manufacturers, retailers and consumers
 Meeting cost, productivity, accuracy and
timeliness targets
 Resolving any arising problems or complaints
 Supervising, coaching and training the warehouse
workforce
