    A chain bucket elevator consists of buckets attached to an endless chain that moves material from a feed chute to a discharge chute. The chain runs over drive and take up shafts inside a casing and is powered by a drive. A belt bucket elevator is similar but uses an endless belt with buckets instead of a chain to lift material from the feed to the discharge chute. Both systems include a dedusting hood to control dust.
