Chapter 6

Reality check
The information Age has one
nagging problem much information
is not true. We live in a time
besotted with a bad information and
it's everywhere.
Seven fundamental types of Bad
Information
*Obvious but wrong information.
* Information Censored for your
own Good.
*Accurate But Untrue information.
*Millennial Information.
*Diagnostic Information.
*Statistical Information.
*Historical Information.
The Bad with Good
Bad information is insidious it look so
much like Good information. Bad
information does not happen by
accident it is promulgated.
Quite an assumption
• The danger is that we are reaching a
moment when not can be said to be
true when consensus about reality
dissappears. The information Age
could leave us with no information
at all only assertion.
Information Devolution

Rising population density and

improving communication cause
thought contagion to spread all over
the society before anyone has a
chance to check the fact. .
What's worse
Bad information is not the same
thing as misinformation if it's kill
you.
When it comes to information the
dictum of "X-Files" must always be
followed" Trust No One".
