the net inductive reactance is higher than the
capacitive reactance.
If we subtract the voltages:
360 V – 240 V = 120 V as your applied voltage
Inductive Reactance and Capacitive Reactance
in Parallel Connection
The capacitive reactance has more current
because its reactance is less than the inductive
reactance. Capacitive current is higher than
inductive current. The net line current is
capacitive. If the values are reversed, the net
line current is inductive.
