• Countoured site , so there is many water logging areas .
• No proper bus stand , so people find it difficult during
rainy season
• Less traffic area since it is away from main road .

• Poorly maintained road width which is leading to
Mangalore railway station
• No litter boxes , so people dump waste I.e. poor waste

Inner road
• Less vehicular movement in this road since most of
the people are unaware about this road and are using
the road which is in the north side to the railway
station which is connected to main road between
pumpwell and padil.
Main road
• This road is connected to the main road between
pumpwell and padil which is directly connected to
nh66 and nh73, so the vehicular movement is more in
this road.
• Day 1:
Since it is working day traffic peak was higher
compared to Sunday 1/9 and Monday 2/9 which was a
government holiday.
• Day 3:
Due to flood in the underpass road which connects to
nh66 traffic was very less compared to the other 2
days.
2 wheeler was highest compared to other vehicles since
it was a residential zone.
8:00- 11:00am and 5:00-8:00pm was the peak hours
compared to rest of the day, since students and
employees travels at this time.
