BACKGROUND
• Aditya Birla Money Ltd, formerly known as Apollo
Sindhoori Capital Investment Ltd is a leading player in
broking space.

• The company is principally engaged in the business of


stock broking and related activities.
•They are having a strong distribution network of over
221 own and 687 franchisee branches, a large customer
base in excess of 175,000.
•Within four years, they established their presence in over
350 locations all over the country.
•In March 2009, the company became a part of Aditya
Birla Group, when the group acquired 76% of the
company.
•During the period, the number of offices has
correspondingly gone up from 561 to 798 and the number
of own branches growing from 168 to 197.

•The active sub-broker offices rose from 539 to 580 during


the year.

•In August 28, 2008, the company entered into Share


Purchase Agreement with Aditya Birla Nuvo Ltd for sale of
56% equity shares of the company.
Objectives of the Study
•The main objective of the organization from its competitors
by effective and efficient the organization does its whole
work process.

•The objective of organization is increase productivity and


quality, and to gain the competitive advantage of a
workforce strategically aligned with the organization’s goals
and objectives.

•The success of company motivates the employees of


organization to continue relationship with it. The employees
to know what their perks chart are.

•So it creates a transparency.

broker selling practices and employee malfeasance.

•By highlighting and analyzing investor and broker


trading patterns, behaviors and related activities.

•Broker Surveillance Monitor can help brokerages


contend with the range of challenges confronting the
industry including growing competition, customer
skepticism and increasing demands from regulatory
bodies.
Depository Fund
•The depository is an entity which holds securities of
investors in electronic form at the request of the
investors through a registered Depository participant.
•It also provides services related to transactions in
securities based on instructions given by the investors
to depository participant.

This RMS Department based of trading
activies of day to day.

The exchange assigns a trading member id to
each trading member.
Basic Mainly Two Exchanges are trading activies.
1.Nse
2.Bse.
Funds
•All online clients has to mandatory utilize the payment
gateway links for transfer of funds to Aditya Birla Money
for purpose of Purchases / Account debit and Margin
requirement.

•You can utilize these facilities subject to availing Internet


banking facility for your bank account maintained with any
of these banks (HDFC / ICICI / Axis)
Funds Payout
•Aditya Birla Money will do online funds payout to the
customers bank accounts mapped in our records based on
request basis.
•The request should be made to the relationship branch
where the trading account is mapped.
Legal
The Legal Brokerage was established by Solicitors and
Independent Financial Advisers who prefer common sense
to complication – and common sense is the key to our
approach.

Arbritates
•Securities Arbitration is a process of dispute resolution for
broker-dealer disputes. The goal of arbitration is to provide a
system for resolving disputes without using the courts.

•The general procedures of a court trial and arbitration are


similar, however, in arbitration, a panel of arbitrators decides
on the outcome of cases rather than a jury.

Major Observations
•During the study of the project I observed knowledge about
how the organization is following their values in a very
sincere way.

•I learnt how and what types of facilities are being provided


to the employees.

•I observed how they are doing the performance of the


organization on basis of the achievement of the targets by
the employees in the time given.

•I got the knowledge about different departments in a


Brokerage company and idea about the challenges what the
employees are facing while performing their work.
uggestions for improvements
•In case of Administration, no visitor report is available.

•Check list is not available for daily Admin work and


issue of stationary items are not maintained properly

•The company should have a process of new vendor


development.

•Periodic evaluation of existing vendors should be done

•Tracking of advances should be done carried out on a


daily basis
