Introduction
• Sleep-disordered breathing (SDB) is highly
prevalent comorbidity in persons with
heart failure (HF)
• Prevalence of SDB is <50% in HF patients
• High level of interest in studying
relationship bet. SDB & has been shown to
be associated with prognosis and increased
mortality in HF patients
Objectives
• Investigate the relationship between DLCO
and CSA-CSR in HF patients
• Determine whether impaired pulmonary
diffusion capacity correlates with CSA
severity in HF patients
