Vedas
The oldest spiritual scriptures of the world.
The word Veda literally means “knowledge”,
specifically the highest knowledge about God
and man.
Four (4) Parts of Veda

 SAMHITA
 BRAHMANA
 UPANISHADS
 YAGYA
SAMHITA
A collection of hymns and mantras of
each Veda.
BRAHMANA
The rules of for pandits, priest with
instructions for rituals, sacrifices and Yagya
addressed to deities. They contain very
interesting and inspiring stories, deep
philosophical discussion and details about
Yagyas.
UPANISHADS
It teaches that in the whole universe,
there is one reality and that is God.

Yagya
comes from the Sanskrit word yagya
which mean sacrifice, worship.
Confucianism
A philosophy based on mutual respect and
kindness toward others. It was developed to bring
peace and stability in society.
It has a complete system of moral, social,
political, and religious thought and had a large
influence on the history of Chinese civilization.
Confucius
A Chinese philosopher and politician of the
Spring and Autumn period.
He created the famous notable idea of Golden
Rule.

Confucianism
A philosophy that emphasized personal and
governmental morality, correctness of social relations,
justice and sincerity.
It has a complete system of moral, social,
political, and religious thought and had a large
influence on the history of Chinese civilization.
Buddhism
The world’s fourth largest religion. It explains
that enlightenment and salvation could be achieved in
the ordinary human life of people and the nature of
suffering.
