• “Pen- style personal networking gadget” created in 2003 by
Japanese technology company NEC.
• Its designer is tour lchihash.
• P-ISM was first future at the 2003 ITUTelecom world held in
Geneva,Switzerland
 INTRODUCTION

P-ISM is a gadget package including 5 functions.

 CPU pen
 Communication pen
 Virtual keyboard
 A very small project
 camera
 CPU PEN

The functionality of CPU is done by

 one of the pens.
In it known as “computing engine”.
 COMMUNICATION PEN

• P-ISM’s connected with on another

through short rang wireless technology.
 Wireless Bluetooth technology.
 Connected to internet through
cellular pho functions .
 Use WI-FI technology.
 VIRTUAL KEYBOARD

• Virtual keyboard emits LASER on desk.

 DIGITAL CAMERA

It is useful in video recording ,video

conferencing .
It is simply called as “Web Cam”
 PROJECTOR

• The role of the monitor is replaced by projector.

• Monitor is LED project.
• Size is A4.
• Resolutions capacity is 1024*768 approx.

Portable
Feasible
Pens produced both of the monitor as well as the keyboard
on any flat surface.
 DISADVANTAGES

• Low storage capacity.

• It is very expensive.
• Battery backup is less.
 CONCLUSION

• The communication devices are becoming smaller and

compact. This is only as example for the start of this new
technology . We can expect more such development in the
future.
