WE USE THIS PATTERN TO CRITISIZE PRESENT MISTAKE THAT SOMEONE’S DOING.

HE OR SHE IS NOT ACTING SENSIBLY.
See the example below

She is drowsy, but she is driving. Then we

can say to her:
 Hey, you shouldn’t be driving if you
are feeling drowsy,
In this case, you are critisizing that woman
because she is not acting sensibly.
Or you can also say:
 She should be sleeping.
