Agricultural Packaging Techniques Explained

This document summarizes a student group project on packaging agricultural products. It defines packaging and discusses its importance in protecting products and reducing food waste during harvesting, storage, and transportation. The group conducted an experiment comparing how different packaging methods affected the shelf life of apples over 15 days. They found that an apple wrapped in plastic film and stored in a refrigerator with styrofoam packaging maintained its weight best over the trial period. The document emphasizes how packaging selection can help deliver fresher agricultural products more cost effectively.
