VISION

 To eradicate pollution from India. To

create awareness among people
 We aim to reduce pollution by 20% next
year.
Social problem which would
be eradicated
POLLUTION:-
 Pollution is one of the major social issue
we face.
 Pollution is the root cause of deadly
diseases.
 Hazardous effluents are emitted by
vehicles in air which is destroying human
life as well as animal life.
MAJOR CONTRIBUTORS
MAJOR PROBLEM
The harmful gases released by cars
contains poisonous substances too.
Due to inhalation of such gases there is
rapid increase in death rate.
What are Carbon
Nanotubes?
 Carbon nanotubes are fullerene-related
structures which consist of graphene cylinders
closed at either end with caps containing
pentagonal rings
NANOTUBES

 Nanotechnology can improve the performance

and cost of catalysts
 Catalysts made from nanoparticles have a
greater surface area to interact with the reacting
chemicals.
 The larger surface area allows more chemicals to
interact with the catalyst simultaneously, which
makes the catalyst more effective.
HOW IT WORKS?

 The basic trends that nanotechnology enables for the

automobile are lighter but stronger materials.
 Improved engine efficiency and fuel consumption for
gasoline-powered cars.
 Reduced environmental impact from hydrogen and
fuel cell-powered cars improved and miniaturized
electronic systems better economies.

FACTS:-

In today's automobiles, 10-15 per cent of the fuel

consumption is influenced by engine friction due
to :
 The friction loss
 Nano-coatings applied to mechanical parts.
 Nano-structured lubricants.
The tribological processes at the
piston/cylinder wall interfaces take
place at the nanoscale.
