• Act I :
- The Chilterns are hosting a reception
- Mrs. Cheveley wishes to talk about is blackmail and threaten Sir robert
- Sir Robert Chiltern agrees to do her bidding
- Lady Chiltern succeeds in getting her husband to admit that Mrs.
Cheveley has persuaded him to change his mind about the canal project.
• Act II :
- Sir Robert tell his past to Lord Goring
- Mrs. Cheveley is inquiring about a diamond broach she lost the day before
- Mrs. Cheveley to tell Lady Chiltern the truth about her husband, and she
warns Lady Chiltern that she will carry out her threat.
• Act III:
- Lady Chiltern knows the truth about her husband
- Lord Goring Canceled Mrs. Cheveley’s evil plan and burns the letter
• Act IV :
- Lord Goring finally found the woman he loved and proposed
- Lady Chiltern has forgiven her husband

Messages
We can relizes that we can not apply our principle in this life, and becomes
realistic that there is no perfect man in this world. And then, we have to forgive
someone who has made a mistake. Beside that, we also realize that one should
not be judged by their past, so we know that one can be a different person at
present. One may be realize that he/she has ever made some mistakes in
his/her life and then he/she tries to repair his/her attitude.
