• Unusual Juxtaposition: overlapping or putting weird things next to
each other.
• Metamorphosis: a slow transformation, caterpillar into butterfly
• Incongruity: makes no sense at all.
• Natural Laws reversed: defying the laws of nature, very heavy or
massive object weighing nothing
• Repeat: more than once, often used with change of scale
• Distort: alter the objects by stretching, distending, elongating; any
distortion of proportions or size relationships.
• Fantasizing: Creating an entire composition of images that creates
a fantastic story or narrative. Used most often in fantasy and si-fi
art, gaming art, and graphic novels.
