ECONOMIC IMPACTS
The impacts of ecotourism, or any economic activity, can be classified
into three categories: direct, indirect and induced.

Direct impacts are those arising directly from tourist spending.

Indirect impacts are those such as when a restaurant is purchasing


supplies in order to cater to tourist.

Induced impacts are those such as when employee who works in a


restaurant buys goods and services from wages earned.
