Gabriel Ran
Gabriel ran through Boni Avenue. It was a cold and rainy night. The
houses and buildings along the way to school overwhelmed him. There was
hardly a sound for it was almost nine o’clock in the evening. Only a few
vehicles were seen driving past the main street. Then he heard someone
shout loudly. He had to keep running!
Gabriel was getting cold and he ran faster. At last he came to the
gate of the school. He saw many people there. He saw a bright fire. All the
children wearing their uniforms were all around the fire. Scouters!
Gabriel was too tired to move from running. He came closer to the
fire to warm up. One Boy Scout told him that they have been waiting for
him.
Gabriel apologized and told them that he did try to come earlier but
he was not able to do it because unexpected visitors from the province
came to visit them.
