General Intro

This course is provided with candidates from CCTV Oral English competition.
In brief, the judges want to find out if the candidates can:
• Understand the picture
• Describe the picture
• Show their imaginative thinking
• Express in a logical way
• Reveal their presentation competition

There are 3-4 pictures in each lesson for exercises. Teachers should be helpful
and encouraging to guide students do their best in the exercises.

grandpa is weak at walking. But with
the help of walking stick, he is fine. My
grandma is a fashion lady. She wore her
favorite pink dress that day. The
children in the middle is me and my
twin brother. We are loved by the
whole family. The lady in stripe is my
gentle and sweet mum. Dad was
holding her hand with full of love. We
are a happy family.

Last summer my family went to Sanya for


holiday. The bus took us to the beach in the
morning. It was not too hot at that time. I
tried to learn swimming with the help of my
yellow duck swim ring. My brother made
laugh at me. He played football on the beach
instead of swimming. My parents enjoyed
the sun a lot. Grandparents took a walk
leisurely on the beach.
