Language

-the method of human communication,

either spoken or written, consisting of the
use of words in a structured and

The Importance of Language

gentle breeze.
3. She was fairly certain that
life was a fashion show.

things using the word “like” or “as” to
make the comparison.

idea or an animal – is given human
attributes.

HYPERBOLE
- is when you use language to exaggerate what
you mean or emphasize a point. It’s often used
to make something sound much bigger and
better than it actually is or to make something
sound much more dramatic.

wide.

what figure of speech is used.
