 ABSTRACT

The aim of this web portal is to implement an online

information service for Chitrambalam also known as “Chidambaram”.The
public can view details of the town for their purpose of sighting and can
share the information with others.This portal will be useful for the public to
get updates to the latest information in detail about the places to visit in
Chidambaram. If a person newly likes to visit a place in this city can enter
from anywhere in the world. They did not know where to go or where to
stay in the unknown places. So they need to search about Temples,
Restaurants and any other areas that they wish to visit. In this portal for
describing places that were located Chidambaram using this they can find
out all places in a single web portal.It is very helpful and also it is user
friendly. So, that everyone can easily access the information through this
web portal.
 Existing System
 In the list of visiting places, cities are the mostly visited places.

 Tourists are come from different places and new to the city they don’t know
about the cities , culturals of places to visit and how to approach.

 Tourist guides are the persons who guide the tourists about the city like the
visiting places, their importance and how to approach by taking money from
them.

 Tourist guides may cheat tourists for money by telling lies and chance to rob
them in some cities they are not available.

 Therefore, in this modern network era, people will expect the mobile
application support that consists of all the details of the places, hotels, and etc.

 Before, there was separate websites to search over for tourist places,
entertainment and other facilities to be utilized in a city it was very difficult
for the tourists.
 Proposed system

 Web portal or simply known as portals is a site that provides access to

the different application and information available in WWW [World
Wide Web].

 They are many benefits of using portal including the integration of

several application

 This application serves the people with a day to day information that are
happening in and around Chidambaram.

 That is, it gives the information about the latest updates, which has the
upcoming events.

 There is no such application, which gives all sort of information in

Chidambaram.
 By using this web portal we can avoid the guidance of tourist guide
and also robbery that are done by them

 So that everyone can get the required information about the city in a
single web portal itself.

 The web portal is planned to develop using HTML & Php
