are on line segment. In notation, we write
AD or simply AD. We can also name it as
DA or DA.

The length of DF = 3

Segments AB and DE are congruent.


CE and DF are also congruent segments.
The length of AD= 3
The length of EG = 2

These segments are not congruent


to each other because their lengths
are not the same.
