Interpersonal role

1. Figurehead - The CEO serves as the


symbolic personification of the

1. Monitor – The CEO needs to be abreast of what is

2. Disturbance Handler- Sooner or later, conflicts may
arise within organization

people and units within the organization may eventually

person in the organization and, as such, hold the most
power as a principal negotiator.

the business. It could be a simple vision, such as market share

years.

electronics powerhouse that is today, was also known for his clear
version of the products and services that Apple could create and
control.
Capacity Building
the CEO is the primary shepherd of the company’s
resources, responsible or for ensuring that all available
resources are being utilized efficiently the company’s
goals.
But along with this the CEO should also be aware of
what the company does not have what resources the
company needs to better achieve its goals.
