THE DEVELOPMENT OF JEANS IN THE WORLD

Nowadays many people like to wear jeans. Jeans are common wadrobe
in the wold. Jeans can be used in every ocasions but people usually
don’t wear jeans in formal ocasions. May be this happen in the past
time jeans were usually worn by low level people so that it gives
impolite impression if people wore jeans for formal ocasions. Before
knowing about jeans more specific you have to know about history of
jeans making, kinds of jeans and why many people were jeans.
Jeans was first made in Genoa, Italia in 1560. Jeans
was also known to be worn by the workers in the UK
in the 1840. The french called these pants as “blue
de genes” which means the blue of Genoa. Jeans
was popularized in USA by Levi Strauss.
In 1930’s the popularity of jeans began to
escalate. It couldn’t be saparated from the
popularity of cowboy movies. In 1990’s

played Beverly Hills 90210 and Melrose
Place-famous drama series at the time.

such as Kurt Cobain from Nirvana that really
boosted the fame of jeans throughoutthe
world.
There are many kinds of jeans in the world, specially in Indonesia is suggest by
many kinds of people from different background. Although this product is quite
expensive it doesn’t become a problem for the consumer. There are some kinds
famous in the world is LEA, LOIS, LEEG’S, WRANGLER, AND CARDINAL
For the time in the period up to know, variety of jeans already change
experience very much. In part of material used kinds of jeans and the type of
jeans, because of the fast changes it makes all designer always find one new
creation that will make jeans long lasting and liked by all people.
There are some types of jeans in the world :

1. Straight cut

because the environment demands the teenagers to have perfect

fit with other outfit practical and comfortable.

to follow the latest trends in mode.

became a trend for the teenagers in the world. The development of
jeans from year to year make the teenager’s appearance inovative. So, if
