I am interested in the proverb, “Don’t cry over the spilt

milk”, or in Indonesian it means “Nasi sudah menjadi bubur”. The

proverb means that we ..................not always regret something
bad that we have done in the past. What we did was
our..............., we felt sorry but don’t be drowned in that situation,
we have to learn from the mistake so next time we
.....................repeat the same mistake.
In my experience, I ..........a friend who was considered as
lazy student in class. She rarely did the task given the teacher,
even she .................played truant. As a result in the end of the
year she was left behind, she ...................very sorry and regretted
very much. She was lazier and after one semester the school
decided to give her back to the family. ........................she
dropped out the school.
As my advice then, we must not be in our feeling of sorry.
If we made mistake, we should ...............from the mistake and try
not to make the same mistake. I think my friend should not be
lazy again she should have ....................all the tasks, so she could
get better marks and the she could pass the class with good
marks.
