Nano Nagle’s Prayer

Holy Spirit of God, enlighten us to

understand how we can use our gifts to
give you praise and serve your people in
works of Justice and Mercy.

Teach us to listen, that we may hear your

words, give us vision born of faith to
know your way for us and courage born
of love to follow it.
 Give us Nano Nagle’s zeal , so
that learning what you would
have us to do, we may love and
serve you according to your will.
Direct us , guide us, inspire us
and give us a listening and
generous heart. Venerable Nano
Nagle Pray for us. Amen.
*To put her school to a more
lasting and more professional
basis, she decided to bring the
Ursuline Sisters. As well as
her first Presentation
companions: Mary Fouhy,
Elizabeth Bourke, and Mary
Ann Collins. From France to
teach in Cork. But, for various
reasons, the experiment as it
materialized did not fit in with
Nano’s vision.
*Reason of

1801-Pope Pius VI-

the foundation
must be
incorporated in
the church’s
Mission.
1891-Pope Pius VII-
approved the
New title of the
Foundation:
Presentation of
the Blessed Virgin
Mary ( PBVM)

who declared Nano
Nagle Venerable
( October 31, 2013)
