BENEFITS
Rich project Management Features
› Users can take advantage of the system’s global overview of projects and manage them easily through the interactive timelines. Future projects can
be planned while considering the important factors such as workforce requirement and deadlines. Current projects can be broken down into tasks
and subtasks, have their priorities set and use them as templates for future projects.
› Resources and time are efficiently managed through ProWorkflow’s time tracking and budgeting tools. They can streamline projects and tasks
processes and create invoices and quotes based on the comparison between budgeted time and actual time expended on the project. The platform
can calculate workforce requirements and the doable project scopes.
› Users can manage their contacts effectively through tagging, enabling permissions or disabling them, personalizing data, Google Maps integration
and more. They can also get alerts and notification for updates that require their attention.
User Friendly
› ProWorkflow has many features that make project management easier to accomplish. It has a Project Dashboard that acts as a central console for
displaying all project information and streamlines the management of workloads and workflows. It also utilizes the drag-and-drop mechanic known
for its ease of use.
› There is a Bulk Task Editor, which is a tool that allows quick creation and assignment of tasks. Users can also make templates for future projects that
have a lot of common features. Files from the desktop can be uploaded and shared by simply dragging them in place.
› Proworkflow is a middle-of-the-road project management solution. While more complex than task management tools like Asana
and Basecamp, it does not pack quite the punch as some of its competitors when it comes to intricate project planning and issue
management.
› Most of PWF’s client base is derived from English-speaking countries, so this isn’t as big of a problem as it could be. Still, it would
be nice if down the line the company could add support in other major languages
Reporting is Clunky
› saw a few people claiming they had difficulty configuring the reporting features in PWF to their needs. This is, however, one of the
few complaints about PFW’s usability. In a recent blog post, however, the developers hinted that a reporting overhaul is on its way.
BENEFITS
Feature Rich Management Program
› The features in Backlog are often those you only get to experience in the higher-end products. Backlog provides multiple
subscription levels that provide various features based on your organization's needs. The features are distributed among these
subscriptions in a smart way, allowing you move between these levels as needed. It has an intuitive design and is quite easy to use.
User Friendly
› It's quick to learn and the UI is sleek and appealing. It has all the essential features for project tracking and coordination, making it
easy to find a level of feature availability that suites your team's needs.
FEATURES
Main Features of Backlog are
› Lacks the ability to add custom status for issues (starter plan) - mail notifications are sent to the assignees only, but not the one
notified in the notify field
› While creating an issue, if the company has already standardized a way to include them, Backlog does not indicate if a bug has
already been registered, causing the multi-user test routine to become a bit messy and / or repetitive if they do not check the list
before including the issue.
› one feature that your tools does not provide is the ability to put more people in the loop for CC and notify automatically if there is
an update.
› It was little bit tricky to migrate all ready issues to Backlog. For now, if there are a lot of projects it looks messy, it will be nice to have
the possibility to combine them in folders
› The only thing that I would say that's negative is that it runs slow at times but I believe that's a result of our environment.
› Not being able to cc other users to add them to the group. This would be helpful to have in order to cut down on the time it takes
to involve other users.
› It doesn't have the required functionalities for product roadmap management and burndown charts.
BENEFITS
Incredibly detailed project management software
› The ability to create subtasks, apply time estimates, set percentages on task completion, back-and-forth commenting area on
tasks, ability to set milestones, the 'Everything' view to see what tasks are assigned to you, email reminders for upcoming or past
due dates - they really thought about EVERY detail of managing a software or web related project.
Efficient
› the ability to create project templates, reoccurring tasks, and reminders. These features, among many others enable users to save
time, and put more effort into other responsibilities
› The initial setup and learning curve can be a little steep. The other thing that can quickly be a problem is the amount of space you
have available. If you are uploading a number of files for each project that space quickly fills up. It is minor but an extra thing you
have to manage.
› Time reporting lacks in depth data, customization and visual graphic representations. Invoicing is almost embarrassing in its looks,
almost no customization, and zero financial reporting.
› Adding users to specific projects at a mass project level is not easy. I would like to be able to both add users and filter items
(milestones, task lists, activity, Everything items) by Category of the Project.
› No off-line version for when working in an airplane No way to suspend a task or task list.
› The file storage that comes with the subscription is woefully small in this day and age.
› The interface cannot be customized in such a way that it looks neat. There are filters that can be applied so that things will be listed
in a certain way, but I haven't figured out how to have all my current projects listed right up front when I log in.
› The price is a little steep, they charge per user but they do not charge extra for view-only users.
