When a trial comes upon us, we tend to think, “Why me? What have I done wrong?

We may have done nothing wrong. Perhaps this is the moment for which you were created. No measure
of failures can destroy what God has just appointed. Trials are essential for growth.

In suffering, you will be able to hang on more tightly to what God has guaranteed you. In sorrow, you will
be greatly delight by God. In heart break, your heart will be lined up with His. In frustration, God can give
you a fresh start. Give God your pain and give Him a chance to transform it into a minute where you can
develop.

Those individuals who are encountering God’s discipline get the best of what God can give. One day you
will look back and instead of remembering the pain, you would be loaded up with appreciation on how
God has carried you from season of grieving to a celebratory season of dancing.

We can develop strong through our suffering by humbling ourselves before God and stand firm in His
grace. Give the scar of trial a chance to help you remember how you have been healed, forgiven, and
renewed. Everything is possible in His everlasting embrace, in the love where there is no fear. Never
again broken, never again condemned and restored stronger.
“ Pain and suffering have come into your
life, but remember pain, sorrow,
suffering are but the kiss of Jesus – a
sign that you have come so close to “
Him.
- St. Teresa of Calcutta
How are you? Are you feeling alone? Useless? Worthless? A failure? A piece of trash?

Sometimes, we feel that we are without purpose and sometimes, taking our own lives seems to
be a way to scape all our pains and sufferings. Sometimes, we also feel that everyone is
against us and everyone neglected us. But, my friend, there is our God who loves and cares for
us unconditionally. His love extended to Calvary. Although we are sinners, He even sacrificed
His only begotten Son to purchase our salvation.

God is our great Father. If we fall, He is always ready to carry us. Thus, if we feel that we are
alone, talk to God, He is always there to hear our call. If you feel unloved, read His love letters
to us – the Bible. If we feel useless and worthless, look up to Calvary and be reminded why
God sacrificed His own Son for you.

A FRIENDLY REMINDER:
God loves the sinners but condemned the sin. There is nothing you can do to make God love
you more and there is nothing you can do to diminish God’s love for you. Come to Him, cast
your burdens on Him. God expects nothing in return, just a heart that’s after Him.

“WE DON’T EARN GOD’S LOVE – IT IS FREELY GIVEN.” – Pope Francis

“ We don’t earn God’s
love,

it is freely given.
- Pope Francis
When we pray in silence, that’s when we know that God is with us, in our heart, hearing all our
prayers. Prayer is a powerful weapon to whatever situation we are in. When we look back at
the time of Jesus, we see that it is the foundation of communication between Him and God the
Father. Like us, we also talk to God by means of our prayers. We often pray that good things
will come in our life but whatever God may permit to be done, be done.

At times, others say that God is so great because they received what they have prayed and
some may have the biggest question WHY. But, may we be reminded that God is the author of
our lives. Like a real father, He only do what He thinks was the best for us. It is not that He don’t
want to answer our prayers. He hears us and comfort us in every way he can.

May we reflect the time when Jesus prayed to the Father in Gethsemane to take away the cup
away form Him. He cried his heart out and until the end, when he was on the cross, He trusted
His Father’s will and it did result to greater things.

Today my brothers and sisters, pray and rest your soul in the hands of the Lord and you will find
peace in your heart. Trust Him and he will guide you in your journey in life. Have no doubt
because all things will come at the right time even through hardships.
“ Prayer is the living relationship of the
children of God with their Father who
is good beyond measure, with his Son
Jesus Christ and with the Holy Spirit. “
