Defined

Dysmenorrhea is defined as pain during menstruation.


Dysmenorrhea is classified into primary dysmenorrhea and
secondary dysmenorrhea. Primary dysmenorrhea is pain that
appears with normal pelvic anatomy. While secondary
dysmenorrhea occurs due to pathological processes, such as
endometriosis, adenomyosis, pelvic inflammatory disease, cervical
stenosis, myoma or uterine polyps.

Dysmenorrhea is defined as pain during menstruation. Primary dysmenorrhea is pain that


occurs with norma lpelvic anatomy. Pain in primary dysmenorrhea and other systemic

dysmenorrhea were:age<30 years, low BMI, smoking, early menarche age (<12 years), longe
rmenstrual cycles, nulliparous, premenstrual syndrome, inadequate exercises, low
socioeconomic status, diet, andstress. Primary dysmenorrhea can be treated by
pharmacological and nonpharmacological therapy. One of nonpharmacological therapy
for primary dysmenorrhea is exersices. Therapeutic exercises is helpful for the treatment of
primary dysmenorrhea through various modes such as decrease stress, attenuate menstrual
symptoms through increase of local metabolism, and increase local blood flow at the pelvic
level and increase of endorphin production The result of the therapeutic exercisesis the
reduction of the intensity and duration of pain in primary dysmenorrhea.
Sport is one technique relaxation that can be used for reduce pain.
Opinion that various types of active and active sports passivity can
ease pain in Primary dysmenorrhea is not something the new one. In
some studies, mentioned that aerobics and stretching is a suitable
sport for primary dysmenorrhea.
conclusion
Primary dysmenorrhea is a gynecologic disorder that often occurs in adolescent
girls. One of the treatments for primary dysmenorrhea is exercise. Sports therapy is
useful for the management of primary dysmenorrhea through several ways, such
as reducing stress, reducing menstrual symptoms through increased local
metabolism, increased local blood flow to the pelvis, and increased production of
endorphins. The end result of exercise therapy is a decrease in the intensity and
duration of pain in primary dysmenorrhea.
