Audio files layered over PowerPoint
slides so a user can listen to the slides.
It can also be used to add extra
information to the PowerPoint that may
not be as important.

What You’ll Need:

1. Microsoft
PowerPoint

2. A headset with Microphone

Step One: Click “Insert”.

Step Two A: Find the “Media” section in “Insert”

PowerPoint 2016 For Windows 5

Step Two B: In “Media” click on “Audio”.

Step Three: Press “Record Audio”

Step four: “press on the red button” to begin recording.

Step Five: Once finished recording, just press “ok”

Once finished
make sure to play
back the audio to
check for mistakes.

Once Finished with the steps you should have an
Audio file as such:

The audio recording will

appear on the slide like this.

It can be moved and hidden

both behind objects and off
slide and will still work.
