Do’s
 Make sure that your racket brand can be trusted.
 Research beforehand. Avoid picking on the spot.
 Pick a comfortable grip size.
 Examine the racket before purchasing it.
 Focus on the string-tension.
 Learn to string your own racket.
 Warming up before playing badminton.
 Take small quantities of water or isotonic
sports drink both before play and at intervals
during play.
 Carry some plasters in your sports bag.

 Keep your racket heads up so that you can


intercept any shuttle which is coming towards
your face.
 Cool down your body after the game
Dont’s

 If you re a beginner, do not buy a high-priced.


 Do not always base on the look.
 Avoid slippery floors if possible.
 Don’t get intense physical exercise.
 In doubles, if you are taking the front position,
do not turn around to see what shot your
partner is going to hit.
 Avoid running into everyone when you are
practicing.
 Avoid lying down straight after play.
