PROBLEM Green computing or green information technology (IT) concentrates on the processes of developing eco-friendly IT products, electronic components, and IT-enabled services (Ahmaro, et al., 2015; Baidya, et al., 2015; Bekaroo & Pattinson, 2013).
Whilst the importance of green IT in an organization influences an active
cost-reduction benefits and higher profit (Bekaroo & Pattinson, 2013). Thus, adopting green IT in an organization motivates eco-sustainability and cost-effectiveness through various green IT practices (Bhat & Patil, 2014; Caldiera, et al., 2012), although its implementation provides various challenges to the organization.

PROBLEM The problems posed in the implementation of green IT in an organization open to different practices that help alleviate hazards it brings to the environment. Also, these methods also help in improving the firm’s operational cost efficiency and stability. These methods are not limited only to reducing the use of carbon-emitting devices, but also encompass other approaches which help in reducing hazardous carbon-emission.
Several endeavors of adopting green IT took place in business
organizations, ranging from IT manufacturing to end-user IT utilization. However, very limited efforts on green IT adoption focused on universities, such on the level of awareness of the university students in Mauritius about green computing (Goyal, Arya, & Nagpal, 2014); readiness of green IT implementation in Malaysia which developed a green university framework (Gu, Lago, & Potenza, 2012).

PROBLEM However, there is no existing literature citing green IT adoption in the universities of the Philippines, including the practices, implementation, and green IT stewardship.

THESIS This study sought the extent of green IT implementation in a university for environmental sustainability and operational cost reduction. Furthermore, this study seeks to contribute to strengthening the green IT stewardship and implementation in the university to bridge the gap between energy usage and IT in the Philippines.

PROOF/SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES Conduct a survey using a questionnaire developed from past studies to gather information on the university’s green IT practices of the university’s personnel , based on their work assignments, as to: Green IT implementation Eco-friendly/Eco-effectiveness motives Green IT operational practices
Conduct reliability testing of the questionnaire
Analyze the gathered responses to determine the extent of green IT
implementation, eco-friendly/eco-effectiveness motives, and green IT operational practices

PROBLEM The teacher is the most important learning resource that a learner can depend on. However, the inability of the teacher to perform well in the class compromises the quality of learning of the students. Thus, the conduct of teaching performance evaluation obtained valuable information on how the teacher performs his job inside and outside the four walls of the classroom (Badur & Mardikyan, 2011; Montoneri, 2013). An essential evaluator of teaching performance is the student who has the most contact hours with the teacher in the entire semester (Badur & Mardikyan, 2011; Kornell & Hausman, 2016). Yet, using multisource feedback instrument in assessing the teaching performance sufficiently provides multiple components of assessing performance from various sources like peers, clients, department heads, and the self-evaluation (Overeem, et al., 2012).

PROBLEM Typically, the schools conduct the teaching performance evaluation before the semester ends, giving the evaluators enough time to gather evidences of the teacher’s performance in facilitating his classes.
This semestral evaluation entails also a semestral analysis of the results of
the evaluation in order to conduct a post-evaluation conference per teacher, for him to know the results of his evaluation and as an aid to the administrator’s decision making related to teaching and teaching enhancements. The conduct of the evaluation signifies voluminous results of the teacher’s teaching performance, even for a retention period of three to five years.
12/5/2019 Research Methods in Management Science 9
PROBLEM Practically, the conduct of teacher’s teaching performance focuses on individual teachers wherein evaluation results and reports are addressed to them for teaching improvement, deloading of teaching units or sometimes, dismissal from teaching.
12/5/2019 Research Methods in Management Science 10
THESIS Considering the volume of evaluation results per teacher, these results require full utilization to holistically determine the quality and performance of the teachers as a whole.

PROOF/SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES With the collection of teaching performance evaluation results obtained from multisource feedback instruments for all the tertiary teachers of a university, the selection process selected the representative data, considering their availability and necessity, and integrating them into one data set
Carefully check the values in each data representation for completeness
of the data from the multiple sources of evaluation thus, identifying missing values
Consolidated the evaluation statements to come up with specific
indicators
