 Innovating the product portfolio in alignment with “UN’s

 Focused on finding better, more responsible ways to
package products. Started using plant based bioplastic
bags in 3 locations
 Collaborating with biotech firm Danimer Scientific to
develop next generation biodegradable snack packaging
 Increasing usage of recycled PET packaging for beverages
 Strive to achieve zero waste to landfill in direct operations 3

 Working with farmers around the world to develop and


implement sustainable agricultural practices
 Aligned with UN’s “Clean Water and Sanitation”, “Responsible
Consumption and Production” and “Climate action” sustainable
development goals; 40 Million Dollars invested
 Working with suppliers, partners and customers to reduce
emissions and carbon footprint
 Continually improving our packaging design and supporting
increased recycling, composting and other environmentally
friendly approaches
 Achieved a 25% efficiency improvement between 2006 and
2015 in terms of usage of water for operations
 Engaging farmers in “Sustainable Farming Program”. Providing
education on field agronomy, fertilizers, irrigation, plant
protection techniques and new technologies 4
 Investing in capability and upgrading equipment to more
efficient and low carbon option, for instance- the company has
booked 100 all electric tesla trucks for its supply chain

 Using the strength of global reach to have positive impact on


the communities
 Advancing respect for human rights in our direct operations,
with our third-party suppliers and with our other business
partners
 PepsiCo and the PepsiCo Foundation are investing $100 million
by 2025 as part of Performance with Purpose Agenda toward
women’s economic success, with a focus on education and
workforce training
 PepsiCo foundation has collaborated with Akshay Patra and
sponsored 8 million meals which will benefit 35,000 children
and 17,500 young women
 Has a long standing history of working with relief partners to 5
help communities that have suffered as a result of natural
disaster
