CARD CATALOG

Card catalog is a set of cards in a


library that have information
about book, journals, etc.,
written on them and are
arranged in alphabetical order.

Catalog
AUTHOR CATALOG

 Itis a type of card catalog which is


organized by the last name of the author. If
more than one book collaborated on the
book, the author listed first is the one that
appears on the card catalog.
TITLE CATALOG

 It provides an easy way for a person to


find a specific book holding by its title.
 It contains all the same information
that the author catalog contains, but
the information is rearranged on each
card entry.
SUBJECT CATALOG

Itorganizes all of the library


holdings by the main
subjects of the tile.
Online Public Access Catalog
(OPAC)
Library Online Public Access
Catalog (OPAC) contains records
of all library holdings, and serves
as a search guide for easy
retrieval of library materials.
