• David Hume contribution to Modern

Anthropocentrism
• From Greek Ancient Greek: ánthrōpos,
"human being" and kéntron, "center“.
• refers to a human-centered, or
“anthropocentric,” point of view. In
philosophy, anthropocentrism can refer to the
point of view that humans are the only, or
primary, holders of moral standing.

• The Inventions of the Printing Press
– The Invention of the Printing press by Johannes Gutenberg
making books cheaper to make than the old method of
scribes.
